Axiom is a virtual airline and flight-simulation community. It is a hobbyist platform and is not a real air operator. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real aircraft manufacturer, airline, or aviation authority. All aircraft types, liveries and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for enthusiast, non-commercial reference only. No real-world flights, transport or services are offered.

A. Terms of Use

1. Acceptance. By registering for or using Axiom (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Notice below. If you do not agree, do not register.

2. Your account. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country); if younger, register only with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.

3. Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the Service — no unlawful, abusive, harassing, or infringing content; no attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access; and you will follow any community rules we publish. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Content & intellectual property. The Service’s design, code and original materials belong to Axiom or its licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us a licence to host and display it for operating the Service.

5. Availability & liability. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axiom is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this hobbyist Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Changes & termination. We may update the Service or these Terms; material changes will be posted here. You may close your account at any time; we may terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

B. Privacy Notice (GDPR)

This notice explains how we handle your personal data in line with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible (controller). The Axiom Crew Center team is the data controller for the personal data processed through this Service. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact admin@axiomjetva.com.

2. What we collect. Account details you give us — your name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash) — plus your pilot ID, home airport, country and time zone. We also process data generated by your use of the Service (virtual flights, hours, reports and preferences) and technical data such as your IP address and session information. If you sign in through a third party (e.g. Discord, IVAO or VATSIM) we receive the basic identifier they provide.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis.

• To create and run your account and provide the Service — necessary to deliver what you signed up for, and your consent.
• To operate the virtual airline (rosters, statistics, dispatch) — our legitimate interest in running the community.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest.
• To send you service messages about your account — legitimate interest; and any optional newsletters — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share it with. Only the providers that help us run the Service (for example our hosting and email providers), acting as our processors under contract, and any sign-in provider you choose to use. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. Where a provider is outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it. We keep your data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after it becomes inactive, after which it is deleted or anonymised — unless we must retain it longer to meet a legal obligation.

6. Your rights. Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data; to have it corrected; to have it erased (“right to be forgotten”); to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise any of these, email admin@axiomjetva.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

7. Cookies. We use only the essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep the site secure (session and CSRF cookies). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Security. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data; passwords are always stored hashed, never in plain text. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

9. Changes. We may update this notice; the effective date above will change and material updates will be highlighted here.
